Eko African & Caribbean Market and Restaurant: Reviews & Ratings
An unexpected gem hidden in my neighborhood. I ordered the white rice and stew with goat. Very good. The goat was wonderful- but the stew broth was amazing. A soothing spicy full flavored thick broth. Plantains were a perfect complement. I will visit again.
First time visiting this restaurant. I enjoyed the service and the food had a fantastic flavor. I will look for this restaurant on my next visit to Nashville, TN.
I had the goat pepper soup!! When I tell you it was bomb. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. I love the community of people and I've found me a new place to eat. Thanks Eko ...
This restaurant has some of the best Nigerian cuisines i have ever tried. I come here often and the food is always on point. The prices are reasonable as well. If you love Nigerian food try this one. You will enjoy every bite:-)
The bald guy in the front who took our orders when we came in was very helpful and friendly, made the experience enjoyable. Told us about the Sunday Funday so we’ll definitely be back. Also the food was so delicious, music was great too.
The food was fast and delicious, there was more rice than meat. I had enough to take home.
Eko Restaurant is hands down one of the best Nigerian spots in Nashville! The food is an absolute WOW—authentic, flavorful, and made with care. From the jollof rice to the suya, every dish tastes like home. The atmosphere is vibrant, and the service is top-notch. If you’re looking for real Nigerian cuisine, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!
I was brought here by a friend who had previously been. She knew what she wanted before we got there and I quickly decided on the jollof and goat. Everything was fantastic and fresh. My only minor complaint was the goat was mostly bone. It was plenty of food, and the focus is on the jollof. I added a side of hot sauce and it mixed perfectly with my meal. It wasn’t too spicy but it was a solid heat. I liked her food better (they always know what to get) and it was fun to eat as well. Her meal was designed to be eaten with your hands and the dough/bread as a barrier and way to transport this delicious food to your mouth. It’s a fantastic meal in a low key spot .
